Keit-ai, alternatively referred to as Keit-Ai, Keit-AI, or Keit, is a parody of an original narrative created in 4chan’s Anime & Manga area often abbreviated as /a/. The term Finds a Way is typically linked with copypasta because of its extensive and frequent usage.

A combination of the terms Keitai, meaning Mobile as in Mobile phone and AI, meaning Love, Keit-ai is a pun in Japanese represented in rōmaji.

The copypasta concept is as follows:

A girl and a boy fall in love. Unable to admit it, he receives the girl’s phone number via a deus ex machina. He phones her right away, not caring about the weird area code, and is ecstatic to hear that she also has a crush on him. The girl just gives him a confused look when he tells her about the confessions from the day before.

He discovers after doing some research that the girl he called is not the same one he fell in love with. She does not actually exist in this universe whatsoever. She is the girl’s counterpart in the parallel universe, and she has developed feelings for the MC’s AU self, who is also blissfully oblivious to her infatuation.

A scheme is hatched by the two to divulge their deepest, personal secrets to one another, providing the other with the means to defeat the other’s heart. This leads to a series of antics. Drama develops when the two start to fall in love with each other instead of their respective loved ones and start to doubt the concept of love.
